Custom Tour of Italy or pre-packaged set vacation tour of Italy?

Here's the reasons why I think a personalized Custom tour of Italy is more rewarding for my travel clients then a pre-packaged tour.

1. You get to customize, shape and configure your Italy vacation with me so you're invested in the vacation with ALL your interests in mind and not just a generalized approach to Italy.

2. You get to pick the locations you want to visit instead of the tour company picking them for you. Sure, if you've never been to Italy before then it's common to want to go to Venice, Florence and Rome, but lets say you've heard how over-crowded, high priced and touristy Venice is so you want to skip it?, well, you can't do that on a pre-packaged tour can you?....nope!

3. You get to pick what you want to see tourist attraction wise instead of the tour company picking it for you. I've had travelers tell me they just aren't fans of Art galleries and paintings,.....so you now what?, I don't take them to the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, which is one of the largest collections of Italian Renaisance collections anywhere in the world. These are the things we do in advance on your trip.... .a customized Italy vacation tour.

4. You get to experience Italy on your own pace, not the tour company's pace. Most of the pre-packaged tours have you staying no more then 2 nights anywhere and often sometimes one night somewhere,....one night stands are inefficient. It's just too much moving, unpacking and packing up and trying to see and do too much in Italy. Italy is so much better when you slow it down a bit and stay a minimum of 3 nights in each location.

5. I've found this to be the best because your travel day is busy and intense and you really cannot do much except arrive in your next town, check into your stay in the afternoon and explore a bit and have dinner that night. I never book any hard reservations for things on these travel days in case of curves balls thrown at you-which is all the time in Italy. So in reality, you're really only in a town for two and a half days.

6. On a customized vacation tour of Italy, you get to control all of your own travel costs and not the tour company controlling your travel costs. I've planned all types of trips for all types of travelers and their budget comfort zones and have found that it's better to have my clients choose their level of Hotel stays and tourist activities instead of me pre-packaging them for them. We also do this with restaurants and eating while in Italy. The flexibility of the customized Italian vacation tour has been my main selling point for years and years now.

7. You get to work with me directly, no extensive staff, plus, I love meeting new people and welcome the new and different challenges when planning a new tour for them and I hope to do one for you soon.
