Private tours of Italy and what does it cost for a guided tour of Italy?

There's a lot of information out there on the internet and of course there's a lot of competition for your Google searches looking for a private vacation tour of Italy or Sicily. The number one question I get as a personal Italian tour guide is this up front...."What's it generally going to cost me for a private Italian tour guide with us the whole trip"?

well,.......from all my years doing this there's never been the same trip twice nor the same cost per person per trip but in a general sense, you can figure on a range of around $350 to $400 per day range which would include my tour guiding fees, the hotel or farm stays, Italy transportation, tourist activities and usually your airfare as well - all without the meals and drinks. NOW, I've had trips come in lower then that and I've had trips come in higher then that - it all depends on what you want to do and the level you want to do it at.

You tell me what you want to do and how you want to do it and then I build your itinerary and put it into an Excel spreadsheet and begin the process. Having a private guide is a great way to skip the hassle of a big bus tour and a set schedule where you're doing some things you don't want to do.....AND, my trips are very competitive with the pricing and I always beat the packaged tour prices, PLUS, you'll have more fun in a smaller group with your own private Italian tour guide the whole trip. Our trip pace is what you want to do the whole time. Whatever you do, I do and of course I want to have the best time possible as well.
