In the summer of 2024, I just completed a Southern Tuscany tour with 4 people, in 2023, I tour guided two couples together in May for 21 days then in October 2023, I escorted one couple for 22 days - I do NOT have pre-made itineraries and use the "cookie cutter" tour concept! Those lower budget shorter duration pre-packaged tours to Italy have you staying only 2 nights in places trying to see too much. I don't do less than 3 nights in any one place.
Italy is better if you slow it down and customize your own guided tour of Italy. My tours are smaller group tours with 2 to 6 tourists with me in Italy on the local level.
